THE CHALLENGE
Wallace Road Nursery in Northampton came to us with a problem: their website was a stop‑gap solution thrown together during a provider change. It looked temporary, felt temporary, and didn’t reflect the warmth or professionalism of the nursery itself.
Headteacher Tatyanna needed a site that:
- felt friendly and welcoming
- made life easier for busy parents
- was simple for staff to update
- represented the nursery with confidence
With a local photographer onboard and early content from the school, we had the raw ingredients - now it was time to turn them into something meaningful.
OUR APPROACH
We started by reshaping the site structure around what prospective parents actually need. Clear navigation, intuitive flow, and content that speaks directly to families.
Then we elevated the school’s initial copy. Rebecca Watson took inspiration from the nursery’s logo, environment, and ethos to craft wording that felt warm, human, and unmistakably “Wallace Road Nursery.” The result landed so well that the school approved it with virtually no changes; always a sign we’ve hit the mark.
THE RESULTS
The finished website is exactly what the nursery needed - and more:
- Clear, parent‑friendly navigation that makes finding information effortless
- Inline translation, helping families from different countries feel instantly included
- A simple, reliable platform that Tatyanna and her team can update without stress
- A fresh, friendly design that finally reflects the heart of the nursery
It’s a transformation from “temporary fix” to “confident digital home,” giving parents a smooth experience and giving the school a website they’re proud to share.
